I am a German-born research scientist and professor of electrical and computer engineering, specializing in microwave engineering and electromagnetics. After completing my studies in Germany and France, I moved to Canada, where I held faculty positions at the University of Ottawa and the University of Victoria. I also served as Principal Scientist and Department Head at the A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing in Singapore. In addition, I have held visiting appointments at leading universities and research institutes across North America, Europe, and Asia. For 21 years, I was the President and CEO of Faustus Scientific Corporation. I am currently Professor Emeritus at the University of Victoria, British Columbia.
